If you, or one of your family members, are considering going abroad to study, you probably already have enough on your mind, without having to concern yourself with all the details of researching, preparing, submitting and tracking a visa application.
There are myriad issues to consider, when planning to study abroad, such as living quarters, limited right to work, minimum study requirements, demonstrable financial ability, adequate facility with English and many others, which vary from one country to another. We are quite familiar with those of the countries we most work with, and will ensure you receive current information.
Once we have assisted you in choosing your school and course of study, we will counsel you on acquiring admission to the institution and submission of your visa application. We will also track your application through the host country’s system, and inform you of any developments. In other words, we will serve as your advocate in the visa process. Having received your visa, we will send you on your way to achieving your educational goals, with clear guidance on all the requirements for keeping your visa in good standing, renewing it if necessary, and any reporting requirements that might exist.
What you’ll need
As stated, requirements vary, but as a rule, you may need to submit the following:
- Visa application form.
- Confirmation of Enrollment (COE) from the educational institution.
- IELTS (International English Language Test) results, if applicable
- Proof of your economic situation and financial resources.
- Medical examination, if applicable.
- Appropriate international travel document, such as a passport.
- What your ongoing obligations will be while in the host country, to keep your visa in good standing.
Depending upon the country to which you intend to apply, there may be other requirements, as well. We will inform you of any such special requirements, so that you can comply within the necessary timeframe.
Some countries may offer special incentives and expedited visa processing, for students in particular fields. We specialise in helping aspiring physicians and dentists pursue their overseas studies, with an eye toward eventual licensing for practice in the host country. Many Pacific Rim countries are experiencing exciting growth rates, and as a result, have unfilled vacancies in some technical fields. However, it is not our goal to help such countries fill shortages in a given field. Rather, we concentrate on helping our clients realize their goals, educationally and professionally.
